Action for the Wild has been supporting Save the Rhinos International since 2006. In April 2014, we have again given to this charity to aid them in what is becoming a desperate struggle to save rhinos in the National Parks of South Africa. The number of rhinos poached in South Africa so far in 2014 is rapidly approaching 300, so the money we give is being used to ensure that anti-poaching patrols are well equipped to stay in the field for longer monitoring times whilst watching over the rhinos. Action for the Wild has donated £5,374 to purchase water bottles, raincoats, radios, sleeping bags, cooking gear and tents for the anti-poaching patrols.
